Technology can do today that could not even be thought in past. This is an era of Web Applications, where one doesn’t need to install and deploy anything new. Everything is going to be happened in the Web Browser, the container where everybody is storing applications. World is moving towards Unified Communication, where every mean of communication is available on a single machine. Voice, Video, Data and Fax – all in a notebook, or in a handheld device. ERP Solutions are therefore getting more compatibility, creativity and mobility with the help of current technologies. ERP 2.0 is under the spotlight currently with innovations such as ASP (Application Service Providers), SOD (Software On Demand) and SaaS (Software as a Service) being extensively researched continuously. The organizations are definitely going to maximize their efficiency by utilizing ERP traits.

ERP can be differentiated today in two general classifications. It is available in the form of bundled services and software that is hosted in house. The second option contains a Cloud Based managed Web Solution, available to the organization via Internet Cloud. The later one is efficient when organizations need to rapidly deploy ERP Solution. Web based solutions also have an edge while investigating the bandwidth consumed. Besides these two positives, the maintenance of Web Based solution is bit more flexible then the hosted solution.

Architecture Requirements for ERP Solution deployment are sometimes taken as nightmare by some specific departments of any organization, to be more precise, IT and the related domains. The requirements by organizations are so complicated in numerous cases that ERP Solution automatically gets more and more complex, thus requiring more resources for deployment. This issue is being considered more seriously today and majority of ERP vendors have decided to be more flexible by presenting Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) that make IT infrastructure more flexible and easier to synchronize and integrate with new emerging technologies. ERP solutions having a service oriented base enable organizations to stay on the top by implementing the best of breed when it comes to IT technologies and business process outsourcing and consolidation. The aforementioned architecture is also known as Enterprise Services Architecture and is widely adopted by leading ERP vendors today. Budget and policy restrictions of organizations have allowed ESA to penetrate more than competing methods. Organizations can combine most important assets: customers, business partners, employees and systems – all at a single platform. The aptitude to effectively attach operation and processes of organizational business with them will in large part conclude level of output. Therefore, organization will significantly increase productivity and force the bottom line by linking its internal systems with suitable allies as part of a solid business tactic to broaden the effectiveness of enterprise ERP, CRM, financial and operational processes and systems.
